Vice President Lu Xiangdong Meets with President of the Turkish Chinese Friendship Foundation Hasan ?apan
On August 20, 2025, Lu Xiangdong, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), met with Hasan ?apan, President of the Turkish Chinese Friendship Foundation, and his delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on China-Turkey relations, as well as on people-to-people exchanges and practical cooperation between the two countries.Vice President Lu Xiangdong noted that China and Turkey are two countries with ancient civilizations, linked for millennia by the Silk Road, which left behind enduring stories of friendship and mutual exchange. In recent years, under the guidance of the two heads of state, China-Turkey relations have maintained a sound momentum of growth. The CPAFFC is ready to work hand in hand with the Turkish Chinese Friendship Foundation to deepen traditional friendship, build more bridges for mutually beneficial cooperation in culture, youth, and subnational?government exchanges, and contribute to the advancement of the strategic cooperative relationship between the two countries.President Hasan ?apan?commended the CPAFFC for its longstanding efforts to enhance friendship between the two peoples. "True friends always feel close to each other, no matter the distance between them."?Recently, at the World Youth Conference for Peace hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), the official call for submissions to the "So Far, So Close"?China-Latin America Youth Short Video Competition was issued to young people across five continents.Co-hosted by CPAFFC and China Youth Daily, the Competition features five sub-themes: Living Comparisons, Creative Cuisine, City Interactions, Cultural Heritage, and Achievements in Cooperation. Latin American Young Entrepreneurs Participate in the 2025 Run with Yiwu—Global Youth Business Program

2025 China-Arab Youth Friendship Ambassadors Program Held in China
From July 26, 2025?to July?30, 2025, the 2025 China-Arab Youth Friendship Ambassadors Program was successfully held in Dalian and Beijing. The program was co-hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Arab League of China-Arab Friendship Associations (hereinafter referred to as "ALCAFA"),?and organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Dalian Municipal People's Government. The theme of this year's program was "Cooperation, Development, Peace."?Youth representatives from ten countries—including Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and China—attended the event.During their stay in Dalian, the delegation visited Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd., Hengli Heavy Industry Group, CRRC Dalian Co., Ltd., the Dalian Urban Planning Exhibition Center, and the Donggang Business District. "Hehe' Culture Communication and Exchange Delegation" Visits Zhejiang for Youth Exchanges
From July 30 to August 1, 2025, at the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), a 28-member "Hehe"?Culture Communication and Exchange Delegation—composed mainly of foreign youth living in China—traveled to Taizhou, Zhejiang, following their participation in the World Youth Conference for Peace in Beijing. Delegates came from more than 20 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas, including winners of the 2024 "China in My Eyes—One City, One Specialty"?Short Video Competition organized by CPAFFC, as well as representatives of awardees from past sessions of the "My Story of Chinese Hanzi"?International Contest. Over the three-day exchange program, the delegation engaged in field visits and in-depth interactions, gaining immersive insights into China's "Hehe"?culture and the achievements of Chinese modernization, further deepening understanding and friendship between Chinese and foreign youth.A highlight of the program was the awards ceremony of the "China in My Eyes—One City, One Specialty"?Short Video Competition?held during the same period. Since its launch in 2021 by CPAFFC, the competition has been held for four sessions, amassing more than 130 million views and attracting broad public attention. This year's event, themed "One City, One Specialty", drew participants from nearly 40 countries who produced over 200 works. The entries not only showcased distinctive cultural and tourism resources and products with geographical indications from across China, but also vividly reflected the vitality of high-quality urban development. At the awards ceremony, 20 works received the Grand Prize, First ?Prize, Second Prize?and Third Prize, as well as Excellence Award.
