Official Call for Submissions of Entries to "So Far, So Close" China-Latin America Youth Short Video Competition Launched
"True friends always feel close to each other, no matter the distance between them."?Recently, at the World Youth Conference for Peace hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), the official call for submissions to the "So Far, So Close"?China-Latin America Youth Short Video Competition was issued to young people across five continents.Co-hosted by CPAFFC and China Youth Daily, the Competition features five sub-themes: Living Comparisons, Creative Cuisine, City Interactions, Cultural Heritage, and Achievements in Cooperation. With the vision of "finding common ground amid differences and creating resonance through exchange", the event aims to highlight vivid stories of shared destiny and people-to-people ties between China and Latin America. It also seeks to convey the aspirations of young people from both regions to pursue development and revitalization together, and to jointly build a China-Latin America community with a shared future.?Participants at home and abroad are encouraged to draw on personal experiences and submit works in creative formats such as Vlogs and micro-short dramas, presenting multidimensional stories of Chinese and Latin American?people-to-people connectivity and the fruitful results of cooperation across various fields.Submissions will be accepted until the end of October 2025. Latin American Young Entrepreneurs Participate in the 2025 Run with Yiwu—Global Youth Business Program

Youth Delegation from S?o Paulo, Brazil Visits China
At the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), a youth delegation from S?o Paulo State University, Brazil, visited China from July 26?to August 2, 2025. 2025 China-Arab Youth Friendship Ambassadors Program Held in China
From July 26, 2025?to July?30, 2025, the 2025 China-Arab Youth Friendship Ambassadors Program was successfully held in Dalian and Beijing. The program was co-hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Arab League of China-Arab Friendship Associations (hereinafter referred to as "ALCAFA"),?and organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Dalian Municipal People's Government. The theme of this year's program was "Cooperation, Development, Peace."?Youth representatives from ten countries—including Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and China—attended the event.During their stay in Dalian, the delegation visited Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd., Hengli Heavy Industry Group, CRRC Dalian Co., Ltd., the Dalian Urban Planning Exhibition Center, and the Donggang Business District. "Hehe' Culture Communication and Exchange Delegation" Visits Zhejiang for Youth Exchanges
From July 30 to August 1, 2025, at the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), a 28-member "Hehe"?Culture Communication and Exchange Delegation—composed mainly of foreign youth living in China—traveled to Taizhou, Zhejiang, following their participation in the World Youth Conference for Peace in Beijing. Delegates came from more than 20 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas, including winners of the 2024 "China in My Eyes—One City, One Specialty"?Short Video Competition organized by CPAFFC, as well as representatives of awardees from past sessions of the "My Story of Chinese Hanzi"?International Contest. Over the three-day exchange program, the delegation engaged in field visits and in-depth interactions, gaining immersive insights into China's "Hehe"?culture and the achievements of Chinese modernization, further deepening understanding and friendship between Chinese and foreign youth.A highlight of the program was the awards ceremony of the "China in My Eyes—One City, One Specialty"?Short Video Competition?held during the same period. Fifth "China-Russia Youth Friendship Journey" Event Successfully Held
To deepen the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era and promote mutual learning and exchanges between the youth of two countries, the Fifth "China-Russia Youth Friendship Journey"?Event?was co-hosted?by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Russia-China Friendship Association. Joining Hands to Cultivate the Future — 5th China-Africa Future Leaders' Dialogue Successfully Held
To further implement the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit and respond to the Partnership Action for Green Development, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) hosted the 5th?China-Africa Future Leaders' Dialogue from July 22, 2025 to July 30, 2025 in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, and in Beijing. Youth representatives from 12 African countries—including Ghana, Cameroon, and Kenya—together with Chinese youth representatives from Tsinghua University, took part in exchange programs and related activities in two cities.While in Jinhua, the delegation focused on themes such as educational innovation, rural revitalization, and green industrial transformation. They visited the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Teacher Education Training and the College of Engineering Laboratory at Zhejiang Normal University, as well as the Intelligent Precision Manufacturing Industrial Park at Jinhua University of Vocational Technology, where they learned about China's latest progress in educational innovation and vocational training. On July 30, 2025, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Embassy of Nepal in China jointly hosted a reception in Beijing to celebrate the 70th?anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and the People's Republic of China. ?Xiao Jie, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, attended the event.
