On July 26, the 4th Council of the Chinese-Arab Friendship Association (CAFA) was founded and held its first plenary meeting in Beijing, followed by a celebration reception the same night. H.E. Arken Imirbaki, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, was re-elected as the President of CAFA and attended the above activities.
The meeting introduced achievements of CAFA in enhancing people-to-people exchanges and assisting the building of the Belt and Road. Participants also made proposals on our future work. Diplomats from 17 Arab embassies in Beijing attended the reception.
