On Oct. 25th , 2014, CPAFFC Vice President Hu Sishe met and dined the chief representatives of currency issuers from various countries, including Mr. Rémy Baillet, Rodolphe Krempp, CEO and Deputy Director of Monnaie de Paris, Mr. Ian Graham, Marketing Director of Royal Canadian Mint, Dr. Prabir De from Royal Australian Mint, Mr. Neil Vance from Australian Perth Mint, Ms. Lisa Elward from The Royal Mint of U.K, Mr. Zhang Hanqiao, GM of China Gold Coin Incorporation, who were attending the seminar on issuing commemorative coin for 70th anniversary of Victory of World Anti-fascist War in the CPAFFC.
The year 2015 is the 70th anniversary of Victory of World Anti-fascist War. In order to commemorate this major event, and spread the idea of peace, friendship, cooperation and development, the currency issuers from various countries attended the seminar in Beijing, by the chance of visiting the 2014 Beijing Coin Expo. The attendants discussed on the issuing plan of the theme commemorative coin, at the same time jointly initiated the advocacy of issuing the commemorative coin to the world, expecting more countries take part in the issuing plan and working together for the cause of world peaceful development.
Vice President Hu thanked the chief representatives for attending the seminar. He hoped to work with the institutions present at the seminar, to express the CPAFFC’s common wish for peace to the world by means of coin, a greatly well-recognized carrier.
Zhou Ruiming, Secretary-General of Commission for Economic Cooperation of CPAFFC were present at the meeting.
